These items might include:
- A roll of toilet paper
- Paper towels
- A trash bag
- Paper plates, cups, and utensils for dinner
- Pen and paper (for making lists of things you need)
- Checkbook
- Scissors
- Phone charger
- Cordless drill, hammer & screwdriver
- Shower curtain, towel, & soap
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Medications
- Pet food
- Sheets and blankets for beds
- Change of clothes
- Coffee maker, coffee, and mugs
- Bottle opener
- First Aid kit
- Flashlight
- Candles & matches
- Spare lights bulbs
- Non-perishable snacks (pretzels, nuts)
- Basic cleaning supplies
- Broom and dust pan
- Vacuum
Having one of these boxes prepared and ready to go will help make you move a much smother experience while you take more time getting to the rest of the boxes that are not as important.
