Cape Elizabeth Recommendations

The Portland Head Light at For Williams Park is the oldest lighthouse in Maine-and the most photographed lighthouse in the country. With its scenic rocky jetties and gorgeous horizon views, it is a sight to see, for sure. Two Lights Park is also a great place to walk the dog, have a picnic, or play a game of frisbee with friends.

Inn by the Sea is Cape Elizabeth’s most acclaimed bed & breakfast. With incredible, well-maintained grounds and luxurious accommodations-you will not be disappointed with your stay at this beautiful resort. The inn is pet-friendly and also houses an incredible five-star restaurant: Sea Glass. We recommend the Chef’s lobster tail tasting menu.

The Lobster Shack is as “Maine” as it gets. Set on a vista overlooking the rocky cliffs, with views of the lighthouses, this is THE place to go for lobster in Cape Elizabeth. The views are incredible and the menu features many local favorites like fried whole-belly clams, lobster rolls, and chowder. Leave room for strawberry rhubarb pie topped with a dollop of whipped cream and sit outside for the most incredible ocean views while you dine.
